Despite what Hamas is trying to promote all over the world, the bombing of the UNWRA school is not an act of murder.
It’s not a secret that Hamas is using the Palestinian population as human shields.
Among the dead in the bombing you can find 2 known terrorists. What were they doing there? Shooting missles from the school area maybe?
Hamas is shooting missles from schools and other civilian properties and is putting the civilians in danger.
How else can Israel defend itself?

hello i reading about isral and gaza make me so sad why all world countires start war eachother and kill people and children no reason stop war for what !! look at children and children cant speak like ” help” cuz children are so fear hearing bomb beacuse of adults keep going fight eachother didnt think of how thier childrens feeling fear why dont they look down thier children please give children hugs and help children become peace stop war suppose take care of children and home be normal peace beacuse fight over land??? doesnt matter about land i am talking about children come frist need parents take care of children they are small please let them peace no more war that eough god not accpet what they are doing like fight eachother and kill eachother that wrong i am so angry beacuse children death that broke my heart and tear cry my eye that hurt me alot cuz i love all children and people in the world why why anyone keep going fight and kill why ?? stop it peace that eough i want you all hold hand eachother and pray to god for peace and i pray for you all of them peace and i always every night pray for you all coutires i dont want to see you all suffer no more i want to see you all live and peace as friend and love eachother for children s sake!!!!

the guy shot then ran into a school where the teachers told him to get out. he had the gun so he did what he wanted. the israel sniper counldnt get the shot to surgically remove him with sleeper dart to arrest him .
It was necessary to take the shot after as clouds set in and he might escape..so israeli did it.. DONT USE YOUR KIDS AS YOUR BULLETPROOF JACKET..it wont work you coward!!!!
the sniper by the way was a girl only 24 yrs old .

I am full aware that the press is stupid and think that the only aggressors are the Israelis. Yet they report Hamas attacks regularly. They can’t get it into their thick skulls that the terrorists won’t stop, and that the Israelis are defending themselves in the only way they know how. If Hamas were attacking the US there would already be in invasion going on. HYPOCRITS!!. I agree that Israel must stop the attacks but that must also include Hamas stopping too. Until that happens war will rage.

The Israeli response lacks any considerations of proportionality. An effective way of stopping Hamas is required but the mass bombardment of Gaza which involves committing crimes against mankind on a monstrous scale will resolve nothing. When todays children of Gaza lie amongst their dead relatives they will revile Israel and the Hamas fighters of tomorrow will be born. Could kindness to, and not killing the Palestinian people be a more effective method of eradicating Hamas by stripping them of their human shield and any sympathy?

The death of two terrorists cannot justify death of innocent children or other civilians.
I have great sympathy with Israel and its actions in Gaza. However, while terrorists, like Hamas, use civilians as human shield, States like Israel cannot afford to allow it’s bombs to knowingly hurt innocent civilians who have no choice. Yes, it is hard and complicated and while the end might justify the means in the eyes of Israel, it is very hard for the rest of the world to grasp and accept.
As I said to my Israeli friend, I can justify Israel’s incursion but not sure about the means of getting there. In the long run, the issue of settlements is the one main issue that will bring along a lasting peace. Even if Hamas are decimated, the underlying problem of settlements in Palestinian territory (yes, there is a big question mark on that as well) will always be the burning issue.
Legally Israel is right to defend itself and must do so on behalf of its’ citizens. However it must also recognise that innocent civilians forced to stay where the action is, should not become the main target by consequence of terrorist action.

there are no settelments in Gaza…there is no occupation in Gaza. these are propoganda myths and lies that Hamas tries (and succeeds) in conveying to Western (?civilized) nations. Citizens (non combatants) life is important to spare but Hamas should not cowardly shoot behind civilians and the death of kids will not happen. Hamas should not shoot at all and no one will die…

I did not say there are any settlements in Gaza. However even if Hamas disappear, the fundumental issue in your part of the world will always revolve around the settlements in the occupied territories. Hamas has existed because there is a good excuse for them to do so. Everybody knows that Hamas should not be shooting from behind civilians and nobody in the whole world is condoning what they do. However Israel as a fully fledged member of the International Community and a state with power and influence should go the extra km to make sure they are always above reproach.
I am surprised that Israel did not accept the cease fire agreement even though Hamas will not. Israel will not just win the battle but the war of words as well.

I wonder if you would stand behind your argument if Germany fired V1 & V2 missiles on England..England today would blast to pieces any country or terrorist organization firing at it. Without any regards to lives of civilians.

Francis, I understand your concern about civilians in Gaza unwillingly used by Hamas as human shields. Some are used willingly and the majority did vote for Hamas, but not everyone. However, it is not simply “kill two terrorists and a bunch of children or don’t” - avoiding action has its consequences too. These terrorists could in this case launch missiles with impunity, maybe killing a bunch of civilians and children on the Israeli side, maybe more than once, and this would be in part the responsibility of the one deciding to let them shoot.
It becomes worse when such terrorists take advantage of a country’s reluctance to inadvertently kill civilians, and make it a custom to hide between them and kill civilians on the other side. At some point it might be necessary to prove to them this loathsome strategy will no longer be effective, hopefully preventing many deaths in the future - on both sides…
I’m not very pleased with what is going on in Gaza, but in my opinion the world is silent to greater horrors around the world. And I do believe Israel is trying to minimize Palestinian civilian casualties, or else we’d be just bombing from the air and killing even more…
About the settlements, I’d like to remind that there was no peace between Israel and ANY Arab country even before the 1967 war, and while the location of some settlements deep within Palestinian population is [intentionally] problematic, they are not the root of the conflict.
