Here’s an exceptionally good video that explains the background of Hamas from an historical perspective– and why there can’t be peace as long as they are in power. (I also added links to 5 more of the very best online presentations of the history of Israel/Palestine — some re: recent history, some starting with ancient history. An excellent resource!
